Yom Kippur. Israel, 1973. When war suddenly erupt, Beni’s and his family have to evacuate from their home fast and Beni quickly realizes that nothing will ever be the same.
With his brother, Motti, on the front lines, Beni and his family struggle with their fear for their beloved brother and son. As the war drags on, Beni becomes convinced that Motti needs his help to return home safely. The crazy thing is, Beni just might be right.
To save Motti, 12 year-old Beni will embark on the trip of a lifetime. With school bullies who have their own scars, a small but mighty dog named Goliath, and a reckless driver with a heart of gold, Beni learns the importance of friendship, and being brave enough to act when the time comes.
